We are a Native Iowa Winery located in Calhoun County Iowa just two & one half miles west of Lohrville Iowa on Highways 4 & 175. Our address is 2661 360th St. We were established in 2017 but we have been making wine for about 12 years prior to that. We are a craft winery making quality wines (including dry wines!) in very small batches from imported grape juice from all around the world so we are able to offer varietals not normally available to wineries in our northern climate. We also make an award-winning Mead (honey wine). We dropped several of our wines but still might have a few bottles available. Our Fruit flavored wines are available in 750ml bottles AND new 1.5 liter pouches. The pouches are great for the boat or deck, they stand up in the fridge, and there's a tap so that you can pour as little or as much as you want. They best part is they stay fresh for a couple of months after you open them (but who would ever let them sit that long?) We are now pleased to announce our newest wines: Mango In The Night- a mango, dragonfruit, and lemon flavored wine, Cranapple Delight, and Orange Sangria. Please stop in and give our wines a taste- you will be pleasantly surprised! We might possibly be unique in the winery business because Sweet Honeymoon Winery is also The 2nd Amendment Shop. Yep, we are a federally licensed gun shop too. Where else can you get Guns & Rose's????

Because our winery is operated by just the two of us we'd appreciate a call to confirm that we'll be here if you're traveling a distance because sometimes we must be gone for deliveries and other commitments. We typically are open Monday- Saturday from 11AM until 5:30PM but that is, unfortunately, not written in stone. And if you have a group that would like to try our wines on days or hours we're not normally open please call for an appointment. We're easy to get along with! We are pet friendly but ask that you first inform us and obtain permission before you bring your pet in. We have Irish Wolfhounds and they truly are Gentle Giants but in the past we've experienced dogs being intimidated by the size of ours so we'd appreciate a head's up first.
